How to Apply
We invite you to visit and see our program during the school day. Parents interested in Saint John Preschool should call our office (203-656-0548) to schedule a visit. Each year, we begin our registration process in January for the upcoming school year. There is a $50 application fee per family. Priority is given to current students, siblings and active parishioners. You may also download an application (see Forms page). To apply, send in the completed application and application fee.
Saint John Preschool accepts applicants without regard to race, color, creed, sex or ethnicity.

Application Policy
The Application Fee is $50.00 per family and is non-refundable. Application fees and tuition payments are payable to Saint John Preschool.
Current families will have a contract and first tuition payment deadline of January 20, 2024. This deadline will secure your child’s placement for the 2024-2025 school year. Returning and new families will have a contract and first tuition payment deadline date of January 31, 2024. Applications will be numbered as received. Priority order is current families, returning families, parishioners, and community.
The remainder tuition balance is payable in two equal installments: May 1, 2024, and October 1, 2024. The first tuition installment payment is non-refundable and non-transferrable. St. John Preschool will not refund any part of the first tuition payment under any circumstances.
Every effort will be made to accommodate your preference; however, an alternate placement may be necessary depending on enrollment demands. Kindly indicate your first and second choices.
Children must be age eligible by September 1, 2024 for enrollment in the desired program. Readiness issues relative to the individual child should be considered prior to enrollment.
We offer a Lunch Bunch Program for Three and Four year olds on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Children who stay for Lunch Bunch will be dismissed at 1:45 p.m. The per diem fee for Lunch Bunch is $30 and registration is done on a monthly basis.
This application will not be processed until a $50 application fee is received by the preschool office. Checks are made payable to Saint John Preschool. The application fee can be dropped off in person, or mailed to 1986 Post Road, Darien CT 06820.
